Night @ The Movies - Operation Petticoat
Date/Time:
7:00pm - Thursday 10th December
Operation Petticoat stars Cary Grant and Tony Curtis. This movie was made back in 1959 and was an outstanding hit at the time. The captain, Grant, is in charge of the US submarine Sea Tiger while the Japanese are advancing. Partly sunk by bombing they manage to get it into operation (sort of) with the intent to get the damaged sub to Australia. A problem arises when they have to take on a group of US nurses and mayhem arises. A genuinely nice, good fun movie but for those who ask, sorry, no car chases!
